In 2006, Francisco Zambrano, founder and leader of the company, decided to quit his job as a driver and start his own business. After more than 20 years in the industry, he decided to take a step forward and start working on his own.
Without much resources, he acquired his first vehicle. A Renault, a few years old but ready for the most demanding tasks.
In 2008, after hard work, the company decided to retire its old Renault and acquire a Volvo FM9. This vehicle was equipped with a mobile floor, which made Transports Zambrano a pioneer in the sector in the Girona region.
This new vehicle quickly became a benchmark in terms of bulk transport. Quickly, customers, the fruits of Francisco’s good work and the versatility of the vehicle, began to arrive and Transports Zambrano became one of the only companies in the sector, which in the midst of a crisis, was growing.
Innovative and Versatile
Increasing customers lead the company to purchase a trailer for this vehicle, increasing the versatility and load capacity. This new acquisition caused, once again, Transports Zambrano to become the benchmark in the region as far as this type of vehicle is concerned.
From here there were no limits. With a current fleet of 5 vehicles, Transports Zambrano has positioned itself as a leading company in Girona and since then, it has not stopped growing and innovating.
